Consequent to the failure of 1857 uprising mostly by Indian Muslims ,Sir Syed Ahmad faced

great dilemma whether to respond by arms struggle against the British Rule or ponder about the real’

philosophical causes of the fall of Muslim empire and he decided the later course of action .He found that

it is wrong  interpretation of causes of the fall which led Muslims to take up arms against British empire.

He very rightly inferred that it is the Mullah Islam which led to the annihilation of Muslim power around the world.

Muslims  must change their concept of knowledge and aspire to enter the modern world by copying the educational institutions like Cambridge and Oxford and thus came into being the famous ALIGARH MOVEMENT.

Similar situation is prevailing now ,hot headed youths are being taught that West is responsible for their diminishing power and grace.

UNLESS MUSLIMS ACCEPT DEMOCRACY AND SECULARISM ,THEY CAN NEVER REGAIN THEIR LOST GLORY.
